Whitney Houston’s ‘The Bodyguard’ movie set for remake

Yesterday (September 15), Variety reported that the remake is ready to be written by playwright Matthew López – greatest identified for his 2018 play The Inheritance. It’s going to mark López’s first screenplay for movie, having beforehand written solely for the stage.
The information of his “reimagining” of the 1992 movie starring Whitney Houston because the pop singer Rachel Marron and Kevin Costner as her bodyguard comes after López was signed to an general TV take care of Amazon Studios in October 2020.
