The ITV show, which ran for three series, was set in the fifties and was a huge hit in the early nineties, starring David Jason as Pop Larkin (whose catchphrase was “perfick!”)/
Pam Ferris played his wife Ma, and in her break-out role, Catherine Zeta-Jones played the couple’s oldest daughter Mariette.
