THE Bidding Room is back on BBC One after a break of a few months.
Will the new batch of antique owners be able to get the best prices possible from the dealers?
Where is the Bidding Room filmed?
The daytime antiques show is filmed in West Vale near Halifax in Yorkshire, at the Andy Thornton Showroom.
The space is normally a place used for a contract furniture business, but it was transformed into an auction room for the BBC show.
The company supplies restaurants and pubs with furniture, lighting, metalwork and antiques.
Presenter Nigel Havers said: “It’s fun to present a show for a change, getting to know new people, and not having to learn lines or wear a costume! I am keen on antiques in general, so it was an easy decision for me.”
When is The Bidding Room on BBC One?
The Bidding Room airs weekdays at 4.30pm from Monday, October 12, to Friday, October 23.
Fans can tune in to watch the show on BBC One.
In each episode of the show, four sellers enter the room trying to secure the highest possible price from The Bidding Room dealers for their antiques.
The sort of objects usually up for grabs include musical instruments, classic Chopper bikes, Japanese whisky and film props.
Can I visit the Andy Thornton Showroom?
The public are able to visit the showroom, but only if you book an appointment.
The showroom is described by Andy Thornton Ltd as “a unique and inspiring environment with stunning room sets and product displays, showcasing most of our standard product range and vintage stock, as well as samples of our bespoke work”.
Nigel described the show as “an upbeat, fun show that combines interesting objects with a bit of drama and comedy thrown in, so it’s easy to lose yourself in it and forget about what’s going on outside”.
