What is the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special?
Alesha Dixon returns to Strictly for the first time in nine years
For the first time, Strictly Come Dancing judges and former contestants will take a trip down memory lane to look back at 25 of the most memorable performances of all time, voted for by the public.
Even Alesha Dixon, who won Strictly in 2007 before becoming a judge for three years from 2009, will return to the show for the first time since jumping ship to Britain’s Got Talent in 2011.
It’s thought the programme will also pay homage to Caroline Flack’s time on the series, which she won in 2014.
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood as well as some of the regular Strictly Come Dancing professionals.
Strictly Come Dancing airs at 4.45pm on Christmas Day.
