The Death in Paradise star promised fans a ‘series like no other’
The BBC are currently filming Season 13 of the acclaimed murder mystery series, and Ralf, who plays DI Neville Parker on the show, teased fans with a fresh coconut drink given to him as a bonus.
The Death in Paradise star looked refreshed and energised while enjoying the sun as he sipped on his coconut drink during his Instagram reel in Guadeloupe.
In the video, he explained: “Now, it’s pretty normal on a film set to get snacks and drinks around the mid-morning, but what is somewhat unusual about this job is that here, it’s a fresh coconut. Love it.”
He captioned the video: “It’s the small things that make a difference on a long shoot day in Guadeloupe!
“This season of Death in Paradise is going to be like none other. If you could write an episode, what would go down?”
Excited fans quickly responded to the post and penned down their own new scenarios for the show.
One person wrote: “We discover that Richard Poole had to fake his death because of a previous case, and you solve it/save him.
“He and Camille get married and retire on the island, happily ever after.”
A second suggested: “I’d like a wedding for Humphrey on the Island with a murder beforehand that some of the guests help you to solve before the service.
“The guests being Jack, Fidel, Dwayne, JP, Camille, Florence, Ruby.”
A third put forward: “I think an episode taking place with veterinarians would be great… plus cute dogs and cats, and Neville and the gang rescue lots of pups and kittens while solving the case!”
Ralf often shares updates during his filming breaks and post-production for Death in Paradise, primarily through Instagram Q&As.
Recently, in one of his Q&As, the star confirmed that filming would be wrapped up for the new season of the show in October 29.
The actor also speculated that the upcoming season might be released on TV in January after the Christmas special has aired.
Ralf also teased fans about what they can expect from the new episodes and said: “More of the same, the stuff that we know and love.
“We’re going to try and pick up it with the tone [from] at the end of last year.
“We really tried to push the boat out with series 12.
The BBC and Death in Paradise creators have not announced any release dates for Season 13 as of yet.
