Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden was showered in praise by fans after showing off her newly shaved head in a joyous social media clip.
The professional dancer, 33, revealed earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.
She’s since undergone a single mastectomy and is now having chemotherapy after doctors sadly found more tumours, but has continued to remain positive as she shared her health journey online.
On Thursday, the star took the plunge and shaved off her remaining locks after suffering from hair loss thanks to her gruelling treatment.
Having initially shared heartbreaking footage of saying goodbye to her hair, surrounded by her loved ones, Amy has now shared a lovely, upbeat spin on her new look.
Taking to Instagram, the dancer shared a lovely video of herself leading her family in a lively little routine before she shaved her head, then striding to the camera and removing her baseball cap for a smooth transition.

Amy then twirled back onto the screen to reveal her shorn scalp as she posed with a big beam in place and her family celebrating in the background.
‘When @diannebuswell sends you reel ideas!’ she wrote in the caption, referring to her Strictly bestie and fellow pro dancer.
‘Fair play dad @richard_dowden you steal the show here with your performance and energy #showman! This brought so much fun to the day! As dancing always does 🙏🎀💖,’ she added.

As the performer’s followers complimented the clip in her comments, it seems others were also particularly taken by her dad Richard’s moves.
‘Yessssssss 🥰🥰💗💗💗💗💗 look at you all 👏👏,’ commented Dianne in delight, before adding: ‘@richard_dowden it’s a 10 from me ❤️’
‘Oh your Dad!!!! I love him. He gives me Jeremy Vine vibes 😂,’ replied one follower, referencing the broadcaster, who was an enthusiastic competitor on Strictly back in 2015.
‘Sorry Amy, I know I should have been watching you, but your Dad is a legend. Well done sweetheart,’ added another pal.
Her Strictly co-stars were also all in the comments too, with Vito Coppola leaving a heart emoji, and Carlos Gu gushing: ‘😍😍😍 what gangs , looks amazing x’
Former contestant Helen Skelton also left a strong of raised hand emoji, celebrating Amy, while others praised her as ‘a truly inspiring legend’.
While her cancer has ruled Amy out of fully taking part in Strictly this year, the door has been left open for her to return as and when she feels well enough.
Fans were also thrilled to catch a glimpse of her during Saturday’s first competitive episode, with Amy appearing in the title sequence alongside other pros without a partner this time around.

She was also referenced in the launch show the previous weekend with presenter Tess Daly calling her ‘our Welsh dragon’.
CO-host Claudia Winkleman added: ‘Amy, from your entire Strictly family we are sending all our love and we can’t wait to have you back on the dancefloor.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6:20pm on BBC One.
