Watch out Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The presenter served as a guest editor on the ITV daytime programme and not only helped with directing, but also gave orders to the gallery throughout the episode.
‘Today’s This Morning is going to be a little bit different because I am the boss everybody,’ Alison announced as the programme kicked off. ‘I’m the chief, the buck lies with me.
‘Now, don’t worry, I’m not one of those people who lets it go to my head.
‘I have changed a few things but I’ve kept it nice and subtle.’

Alison had kitted out the whole studio with cushions with her face on and even gave the crew branded t-shirts.
Viewers were delighted to see Alison in the driving seat and many called for her to present the main show.
‘Alison is just the best presenter for #ThisMorning give her the main job please,’ one demanded.
Echoing a similar sentiment, another begged: ‘Alison Hammond is the perfect person to cheer everyone up right now. She is absolutely hilarious and such a warm, kind-hearted, down to earth human being. Please can she host @thismorning more regularly?’
This Morning editor Martin Frizell said of Alison’s boss debut: ‘I still can’t quite believe that I have agreed to this, but, yes, on Friday 23rd October 2020 our Alison Hammond will be stepping into my shoes and taking charge of This Morning.
‘She will brief Dermot, decide on the topics and items of the day, and be in the gallery calling the shots and giving her unique style of guidance to the team.
‘But, you know what, I think she’ll be great, she knows the show inside out and I think viewers will be in for a real treat.’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
