THE Apprentice star Stephanie Affleck has revealed show secrets including what REALLY happens in Lord Alan Sugar’s boardroom.
The 27-year-old business owner told fans that they spend HOURS in the boardroom discussing every detail of the task before one contestant gets fired.

Despite the boardroom scene roughly taking up 20 minutes of the hour-long episode, Stephanie said that contestants are a usually in the boardroom for a “whole day” and Lord Sugar gets a “comprehensive” breakdown of the task before making his decision.
During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked how long the contestants actually spend in the boardroom.
Lifting the lid on the on the BBC One show, Stephanie replied: “The boardroom takes a whole day to film and we are in there for hours.
“Lord Sugar really does cover everything to make his final decision, so although as a viewer because you only see 20-30 minutes, you ask how did he get to that decision?
“He has had a comprehensive breakdown of everything that day to make a decision on the full context of information.”


She explained that she tried to stay calm in the boardroom and remain composed – but was often panicking inside.
“I was always very conscious of how I composed myself in the boardroom as Lord Sugar will not want someone who doesn’t know how to communicate or hold themselves well,” she continued.
“But I promise I may of looked calm on the outside but there were plenty of time I was dying on the inside.”
Stephanie is looking for some funding and support to take her designer childrenswear store, Little Fashion House, to the next level.
She has made it to the semi-final along with Kathryn Burn, Brittany Carter and Harpreet Kaur and will face the dreaded interviews as the candidates are grilled about their business plan.
Speaking about the interview stage, she said: “I would definitely say they are not for the faint hearted!!
“I think you have to be a very strong person mentally to do the interviews and the whole process.”


Talking about appearing, she said: “I’m an East London girl and I’ve got that no-nonsense sort of work ethic. I’ve got grit, determination and I’m determined to be successful.”
“I’m brutally honest, like my sister says, it’s my detriment.”
