The current series of Strictly Come Dancing is reportedly turning out to be stricter than ever, with contestants ‘banned from partying’ over coronavirus concerns.
Dancers this year are being told not to celebrate together, with show bosses worried that more coronavirus cases could force the show off air.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: ‘Contestants, cast and crew have always had a few drinks after the show to let off steam.
‘But bosses have slapped a party ban on the youngsters and reminded them they are there for the show and nothing else.’
They added: ‘Some older crew members have commented that they’re turning the show into Ibiza Weekender.’

Nicola and Katya made history as the first same-sex couple on the show, but their time was unfortunately cut short.
Nicola recently spoke about her Strictly exit, saying: ‘I’m absolutely devastated my ‘Strictly’ journey has come to an end so soon. I had so much more to give and so many people to win this for.’
She added: ‘But I just want to say a huge thank you to Katya for being the best dance partner anyone could ask for. She pushed me way out of my comfort zone and it’s been an incredible experience.
As well as Nicola being forced to quit the show, Motsi Mabuse is also quarantining at her home upon her return from Germany this week. Professional dancer Anton du Beke is replacing her on the panel, while she appears from home via a video link.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
