The Saved By The Bell reboot has reunited fans with their favorite Bayside High students now they are all grown up.
However, the revival series is missing one key character from the original cast – Dustin Diamond as Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers.
Screech didn’t make an appearance at his alma mater’s annual fundraising gala in the first episode which saw Zack, Jessie, Kelly, and A.C. Slater get together for a trip down memory lane.
They dug up their old high-school time capsule and got Lisa Turtle on FaceTime as she joined the fun virtual from her busy life as a fashion designer in Paris.
As for Screech, it was revealed that he and his robot Kevin currently live on the International Space Station.
Yep, he is currently orbiting 248 miles above Earth so don’t expect Screech to make an appearance any time soon.

Screech’s absence is extra notable when you consider the fact he is the only character to appear in every Saved By The Bell spin-off until now.
After his work on the show, the troubled star was jailed for four months in 2015 following a bar fight the previous Boxing Day.
Most notably, he wrote a book named Behind The Bell in 2009, which detailed sex and drugs backstage of the series.
In 2013, he recanted the statements in the book, saying they were exaggerated from answers given to a ghost writer, who actually penned the ‘autobiography’ – but by that point, numerous co-stars had spoken out to slam what he’d written about them as false.
He also claimed in the same interview with the Oprah Winfrey Network that the sex tape featured a ‘stunt double’ and wasn’t him, and he’d directed the film instead.
Saved by the Bell is available to stream on Peacock in the US.
