Pharrell Williams has given us a rare glimpse into what’s happening behind-the-scenes of Rihanna’s next album – and it sounds pretty spectacular.
The Happy hitmaker has been working with the star for her next release, currently known as R9.
While the Unfaithful singer hasn’t been giving much away at all, Pharrell simply said: ‘Rih is in a different place right now. Like, wow. She’s from a different world.’
The 47-year-old added to Allure: ‘I’m willing to bet, because Venus is gaseous, that if they had a telescope that could zoom through all that s**t, you’d see Rih laying there naked.’
Good to know!
While Rihanna, 32, has kept tight-lipped on her ninth studio album, she did give a welcome update last month.

Giving us a tease of what we can expect, she told AP that she had already held ‘tons of writing camps’ with potential songwriters to hunt out the best original tracks.
RiRi also explained she had asked herself some important questions while in the creative process.
‘You do pop, you did this genre, you do that, you do radio, but now it’s just like, what makes me happy? I just want to have fun with music,’ she said.
‘Everything is so heavy. The world that we live in is a lot. It’s overwhelming every single day. And with the music, I’m using that as my outlet.’
Meanwhile, the star also shared her excitement to be back working with Pharrell earlier this year.
The Anti star shared a photo of a mixing desk with ‘The Neptunes’ written in lights – aka the production duo made up of Pharrell and Chad Hugo.
She captioned the snap on her Instagram story: ‘gang. back in da STU’.
We still don’t have a date, so there’s no knowing how long we’ll be waiting for R9.
But, let’s face it, it will definitely be worth the wait.
