A NINETIES Britpop star looks unrecognisable 20 years after his bitter band split and being accused of harassment.

Mansun is best known for songs such as I Can Only Disappoint U, Wide Open Space and Stripper Vicar.
The band, which has consisted of Paul, Stove King, Dominic Chad, Carlton Hibbert, Mark Swinnerton, Julian Fenton and Andie Rathbone, went their separate ways in 2002.
Guitarist Dominic said at the time: “We are truly grateful to the legions of fans who stuck with us through thick and thin.
“We are sorry for whatever disappointment this news may bring.”
However Paul returned to music after songwriter Catherine Anne Davies, 38, AKA The Anchoress helped write his debut solo album Spooky Action.
In December 2022 it was revealed that Catherine was granted an interim stalking order against Paul.
According to MailOnline, Paul was accused of stalking her and allegedly sent “abusive and sexually orientated” messages to Catherine and her boyfriend/manager Sean Adams.
However Paul denied these claims, despite 116 pages of evidence.
The singer said he was not responsible for “the vast majority” of what was sent, and there was “significant background” to the ones he had sent.
Magistrates in Guildford were told in November 2022 that the pair dated in the past.
Barrister Kris Berlevy said at the time: “Mr Draper and Miss Davies are professional songwriters and were once in a relationship which was rekindled in 2017, before coming to an end in 2018.
“Since then there has been a sustained campaign by Mr Draper of emails, social media messages, and the like, against her and her partner.
“The messages take the form of abusive and sexually orientated messages, which are extensive and regular.”
Prohibitions were put in place – including Paul not being able to contact Catherine, Sean or her family.
Paul could also not “incite another person to do so”.
Others included visiting her family home, or the house that she shares with Sean.
Proceedings were meant to go ahead in May this year.
Paul is still busy performing and is busy on tour and the singer shares updates with fans on Instagram.

Sharing the news in July, Paul’s Instagram post said: “NEW ‘SIX’ TOUR DATES – TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
“Due to the high demand for tickets on the first leg of Mansun’s ‘Six’ album, 25th anniversary tour in March, we have added new dates for October and November.
“Tickets are on sale now (link in bio).”
Paul has released a number of singles over the years, including Feeling My Heart Run Slow, “Don’t Poke the Bear and Jealousy is a Powerful Emotion.
He released his second studio album Cult Leader Tactics last year.
