Niall Harbison shared the sweet story to his Instagram
And the dog lover, who posts on Instagram under the username @niall.harbison, stunned his followers with the story of one particular pooch.
Niall’s friends and followers were left gushing over his most recent rescue, where he found “Buttons” a forever home in London.
At only five months old, the puppy was abandoned by her family for not being “cute enough”.
After three months in foster care, she was ready to travel 10,000kms across the world.
And Buttons certainly landed on her paws when she was adopted by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.
Niall shared a heartwarming video over on his Instagram telling Button’s story.
The clip included snaps of Liam Gallagher playing with his new pup to the tune of Oasis’s hit Stand By Me.
Telling the story to his followers, Niall said: “Little buttons proves that sometimes in life dreams do indeed come true.
“From being dumped in the middle of the jungle in Thailand to finding her forever home with Liam Gallagher in London.
“She was the only dog to ever invite herself into the little sanctuary as she had no food and nowhere to live.
“She had been deemed no longer cute enough by her family who moved on and left her there.
“Over the course of 2 weeks she slowly made friends and inched herself in.
“She was fully healthy so she has been in foster in Thailand with @wellness_withcaroline and then I took her on the trip of a lifetime.
“It involved boats, taxis, planes, ferries, trains and 30 hours of travel.
‘A BETTER LIFE’
“To say she was happy when she arrived would be an understatement.
“She immediately befriended all the humans as well as the cats (they’re not sure yet).
“Buttons did this all by herself by plucking up that courage initially looking for a better life.
“She’s relaxed at home, has settled in and is very much loved.
“The best girl there ever was.”
Niall’s friends and followers raced to the comment section to share their love for his post.
