A trailer for the upcoming new series of MasterChef: The Professionals has been released, showing the contestants getting fired up as they show off their culinary chops in the kitchen.
In the new trailer, the competition’s judges – Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing, celebrity chef Monica Galetti and MasterChef favourite Gregg Wallace – can be seen watching over the competitors as they battle it out to become the 2020 champion of MasterChef: The Professionals, which was originally launched in 2008.
The arrival of the new series this November marks a pivotal point in the hospitality industry, amid the struggles of the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this month, one restaurant owner told Metro.co.uk that the implementation of further Covid-19 restrictions feels like ‘death by a thousand cuts’.
Thirty-two professional chefs will compete in the new series of MasterChef: The Professionals.
‘In these extraordinary times, we are now looking for extraordinary chefs,’ Marcus says in the trailer, with Monica adding: ‘The competition is on.’
