The Old Dominion frontman revealed in May 2021 that he suffered a collapsed lung and broken rib after falling off a ladder. “How many OD members does it take to change a lightbulb? Well, after a broken rib, collapsed lung, and various scrapes and bruises, I found out the answer is ‘More than one,'” he joked via Instagram after getting medical attention. “Back home and recovering now with all the fun pills.”
The model posted an Instagram photo of herself with a bloody nose in April 2021. “I baby sat two 7 year old boys for 45 minutes and it went like… #birthcontrol,” she explained in the caption.

The Wonder Woman star recalled cutting off the top of her finger during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, telling Jimmy Kimmel in April 2021, “I cooked a lot, too much. I drank probably too much. You know the early days of pandemic when you start drinking mimosa or sangria or whatever at 11 a.m.?”
During one of those days, the actress said she made cabbage salad and while chopping the vegetable, “I chopped the top of my finger [off].” Gadot noted that her husband, Yaron Varsano, panicked and “threw it into the garbage” so she ended up losing part of her finger, because “there was nothing to sew on.”
The sports broadcaster recalled how she was once hit by a baseball while reporting from the sidelines. Her security guard ducked, leaving her only enough time to turn her head to the side. “It smacked me clear as day in the mouth,” she said while on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“It bounced off my face and landed behind me, but I was fine! Doctors said I had a jaw of steel,” Andrews said proudly.
The NBA player was injured in March 2021 during a Los Angeles Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks. He suffered a rare type of ankle sprain when Hawks player Solomon Hill collided with him while diving for the ball early in the game.
James spoke out about his injury via Twitter, expressing his disappointment.

Though…I don’t think I’d bring him to the OB with me. Those jokes would just be too far.”
The Hills alum revealed in March 2021 that she has lingering symptoms after suffering a traumatic brain injury two years ago.
“2 years ago in March I suffered a traumatic brain injury I didn’t tell you guys about,” she captioned an Instagram video that showed her working out. “I was at a restaurant in lower Manhattan (which shall remain nameless bc accidents happen) and while sitting in a banquet had one of the swinging kitchen doors fall off its hinges and on to my head. I was in the hospital and suffered a moderate to severe concussion for months.”
“I took weeks off work and the road to recovery was long,” Bosworth continued. “I remember visiting a friend a few weeks later and feeling totally lost on 3rd avenue and 21st street, not knowing which direction to walk in. I still struggle to recall words from time to time and get my thoughts out coherently 2 years later.”
The former reality TV star added that she also battled mononucleosis at the same time and spent “months and months” in bed while still continuing to work full-time and admitted it took a year before she “could even consider exercising with regularity.”
“This post is dedicated to my health and your health — precious and sometimes taken for granted,” she concluded. “If you have it, take advantage of it.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared a photo of herself on crutches in January 2021 and revealed she’d injured herself while playing pickleball with her family. “I gave 2020 the boot—and 2021 returned the favor! 4-6 weeks to be exact. Starting Monday because apparently foot fractures are all the rage and there’s not a boot in all of LA!” she wrote on January 1 after twisting her ankle. “The silver lining: it’s called a ‘dancer’s fracture’ so I’m basically a ballerina now. Teddi: 0.” Mellencamp later shared a video message to her husband, Edwin Arroyave, via her Instagram Stories, asking him to carry her upstairs because he wasn’t responding to her text messages. In a subsequent Story, she thanked him for being “Mr. Mom” all day with their kids while she was laid up in bed.

I was really excited about it, and we were running late,” the singer said on The Kelly Clarkson Show, as she sat while elevating her leg. “I don’t like to be late. The Superman star was injured on the set of his Netflix drama The Witcher in December 2020. Deadline reported that he suffered a minor leg muscle injury during production of the series in London. The website added that he will be “sidelined for a short period of time” while the show continues shooting around him. The Sun, which first reported the accident, claimed that Cavill hurt his leg while he was on an assault course, 20 feet high in trees while wearing a safety harness at Arborfield Studios.

The Grammy winner suffered bruises and swelling to her face and a black eye after an accident with her electric scooter. “Rihanna is completely fine now but flipped over on an electric scooter last week and bruised her forehead and face,” the Fenty Beauty founder’s rep told People on September 5, 2020. “Luckily there were no major injuries and she is healing quickly.”
The America’s Got Talent judge fell while testing his electric bicycle at his Malibu mansion in August 2020. “Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family,” a spokesperson for Cowell confirmed to Us. “He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands.” According to the spokesperson, he had surgery following the incident.
The Riverdale star suffered a head injury while on the set of Songbird in July 2020. “I split my head open yesterday,” he explained on his Instagram Story. “I don’t know if you guys can see that, but I have two stitches in there — metal stitches.”

The professional skateboarder revealed that he suffered injuries to his hand after a skating accident in a pool in June 2020. “The session was fun until I did a backside smith stall as a set up for a backside blunt, and suddenly found myself on the flat bottom with my fingers bending in new directions,” he explained via Instagram. His fingers experienced “extreme circulation loss,” but thanks to “expedited” hospital care, they were “back in place” within 30 minutes.
The singer revealed in May 2020 that she broke her ankle after tripping over her open dishwasher door. “I was loading the dishwasher and I pulled the door down to load the dishwasher,” she said during an interview on Capital Breakfast. “And the kitchen floor was wet and I tripped over the dishwasher door. And after, you know, 2,000 live shows, where I’m jumping around for two hours, I finally fractured my ankle. In the kitchen. Waddling like a penguin.” She went on to post a pic of her ankle via Instagram on May 25, and wrote: “I took my brace off my ankle cause it was itchy and now I need to put it back.”
The Bachelorette alum suffered a broken ankle while playing tennis with friends in February 2019. The injury required surgery to fix a broken tibia, torn ligament and syndesmosis tear. “Broken ankle and slits for eyes, but a heart SO full of gratitude for the care and generosity of my family and friends that it tends to roll onto my cheeks a lot lately,” Sutter wrote via Instagram. “It shouldn’t have to, but sometimes it takes something drastic (and really freaking painful!) to shine a light on what makes this life worth living…and that’s the people and the connections and the love. The actor-comedian sustained serious back injuries after his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off a highway and landed in a ditch in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles in September 2019. His friend Jared Black was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Hart successfully underwent surgery later that week and was subsequently transported from the hospital to an in-patient rehab facility to recover.
The youngest Hanson brother was hospitalized in October 2019 after a motorcycle accident in Oklahoma. The band tweeted that Zac “ended up with three broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a cracked scapula” but was expected to make a full recovery.

In January 2019, Rent Live actor Brennin Hunt, who portrayed Roger Davis in the show, broke his ankle during the rehearsal run-through, the night before the live show. Therefore, Fox was forced to air rehearsal footage instead of putting on a live production the following night. Hunt, 33, appeared for the final number with his foot in a cast, resting on a chair. The Full House alum was hospitalized for a hand injury in December 2018 after she and brother Kirk Cameron got into a go-carting accident. “Our fun family day ended up with me in the emergency room. I got into a go-carting accident and my brother ran me over,” Bure told her fans via Instagram before she showed them a photo of her swollen hand. “We got the X-Rays back and I’m fine, I’m just really bruised, which is amazing to me.”

The Teen Mom 2 star was transported to the hospital in October 2018 after she called 911 to accuse husband David Eason of attacking her at their home after a night of drinking. “He pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my f–king collarbone crack and I can’t move my arms,” Evans sobbed during the call, obtained by Radar Online. Although an ambulance was requested, it was later canceled and no police report was filed. She later told E! It was “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” The TV personality also posted a video where she insisted to fans, “I’ve been in so many domestic violence situations in the past that I would not put up with it now. So I don’t know why you guys would think that I would continue to say in this relationship if I was being abused.”
