During an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, which airs on Saturday, the Wonderwall singer lifted the lid on a possible comeback.
Speaking about their infamous feud, he confessed he doesn’t think a chart shock is on the cards.
When the idea of a potential Zoom reunion was floated – so they didn’t have to be in the same room – the 48-year-old was having none of it.
‘Who cares anyway? I know for a fact there’s nothing left on the table,’ he said. ‘We did have a good crack. We did everything. We didn’t leave anything on the table. Like, nothing.
‘When someone offers you 100 million pounds to do a few gigs and that man, you’re going to go, “Alright then yeah…” there was a lot of money knocking about.

‘It was 100 million pounds to do a tour and that and I’m thinking, “I’m not a d**khead, know what I mean? I’ll have a bit of that.” He’s not into it is he? He’s after a knighthood isn’t he?
‘You can ask him next time. For hundred million quid I’d do that…’
Liam also insisted they were ‘both the problem’ – but explained that his sibling doesn’t see it this way.
‘Whereas I’m just a problem,’ he told the host. ‘I’m half the problem, whereas I can’t be having him thinking I’m the full problem. He needs to take on some of the problem. The minute he does that we’ll move on.

‘He needs to own his problem… No [I haven’t spoken to him]. I don’t think it’s going to happen.’
However, Liam left the door open for a comeback, adding: ‘Never say never.’
So that’s definitely not a no…
We might be inching ever closer to a possible reunion after Noel heaped praise on his brother’s vocals for a video to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?
In the clip, titled Return To Rockfield, he could be heard stating: ‘Liam’s voice is f***ing on another level on that record.
‘There is nothing around today that even f**king comes remotely close to it.’
‘Nobody realised that was our moment,’ he added. ‘Nobody had any f***ing idea what was going to happen.’
The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday, at 9.35pm, on ITV.
