James Martin ‘walks off’ This Morning as caller doesn’t know who he is

James Martin was left hanging on This Morning after a caller struggled to guess his name.
Presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were playing the Spin To Win game where one lucky viewer gets to win cash prizes.
On Monday Raj got the chance to play, and after correctly saying the phrase of the day he won a further £750 by Holly and Phil spinning the wheel.
To bag a further prize, Raj had to name the chef that would be cooking on that day’s show.
Raj’s mind went blank which could mean either he hadn’t been watching along or he genuinely couldn’t remember who the TV chef was.
James prepped his dish nearby waiting for his name to be said, and as the awkward silence continued the Saturday Kitchen star pretended to storm off set.

Holly tried her best to help the viewer out by giving him clues.
‘Can you see your telly? Let me give you a clue – the first name is the same name as 007,’ she said.
Raj correctly guessed ‘James’ however he struggled with his surname making Phil slump down in his seat in frustration.

It got to the point where Phil had to yell the answer at the camera while Holly instructed Raj to ‘just say “Martin”!’
Luckily he did, and he managed to bag himself a giant This Morning bauble to hang on the Christmas tree, a tote bag and some other goodies.
Viewers (who were actually watching) couldn’t help but feel for James.
The chef then went on to prepare a gorgeous cheese fondue which the lucky hosts got to tuck into.
Holly lost one of her veg to the fondue’s cheesy depths and revealed the ‘rule’ that if dropped what you were dipping into the fondue you had to take off a layer of clothing.
Sticking to the rules Holly took off one of her shoes causing Phil to crack up laughing.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
