BT Sport is celebrating WWE legend The Undertaker this month with a full week of content leading into Survivor Series.
The wrestling world’s resident Dead Man is stepping away at this month’s pay-per-view on October 22, which is being held exactly 30 years since he debuted in the company at the same event.
In a tweet announcing the news, the WWE on BT Sport team wrote: ‘Man. Myth. Legend. Phenom.
‘We’re dedicating a whole week to @undertaker on BT Sport as we build to his 30th anniversary and final farewell to WWE.
‘It’s going to be emotional, it’s going to be special… A whole week dedicated to one of the greatest of all-time.
‘Iconic matches. Original content. Special posters. Giveaways. We’re going to celebrate him and spoil you.’
The week of content will kick off on November 16, and run until the Sunday night leading into Survivor Series itself, which will be available on the WWE Network and BT Sport Box Office.
Viewers will be treated to footage from The Last Ride documentary series, which aired earlier this year and ended with the epic bombshell that Undertaker was calling time on his legendary career.
The Phenom’s first interview with on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions will also get an airing before they get together again on November 22 for another in-depth chat.
After the success of the first What Went Down special – which saw Triple H and Stephanie McMahon break down their WrestleMania 34 match against Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey – fans will be treated to another edition.
This time, the programme with focus on The Undertaker and Triple H’s memorable Hell In A Cell Match from WrestleMania 28, which featured Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.
As if that wasn’t enough, BT Sport will also be broadcasting some of ‘Taker’s most iconic bouts every night of the week.
