It’s one of the TV hits of the year, and Industry fans are desperate for more after season one arrived earlier this year.
The show focuses on the lives of ambitious young graduates finding their feet in the world of finance, competing for a limited number of positions at an investment bank in London.
The cut-throat hiring process has proved compelling viewing, becoming a word of mouth hit after first arriving in November.
But will there be a second season of the BBC and HBO drama?

Will there be a season 2?
The good news is, HBO has confirmed a run of eight new episodes are on the way.
The broadcaster posted an image from the first season, adding the caption: ‘After a successful IPO, [Industry] is coming back for Season 2.’
No release date has been released as yet, but it’s certainly exciting news for fans – watch this space for more details soon.
Who’s in the cast of industry?

Myha’la Herrold plays the lead role of Harper Stern, an ambitious young woman from upstate New York, who finds herself unfairly underestimated by her fellow professionals.
David Jonsson is one of the other main stars of season one. He plays Gus, a smart graduate who went to both Eton and Oxford.
Elsewhere, the likes of Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, David Jonsson and Nabhaan Rizwan are all likely be back on the show as the young recruits vying to progress up the career ladder.
What is Lena Dunham’s connection to Industry?

The first season of Industry had an A-list boost, with Lena Dunham teaming up with the show’s creators. The Girls actress directed the very first episode of the drama, titled Induction.
It’s one of the first major projects directed by Lena, after helming 19 episodes of her show Girls between 2012 and 2019. She also acts as executive producer on the series.
