THE I’m A Celebrity castle was surrounded by 100ft ghostly figures as crew tested the special effects before Sunday’s launch.

While the castle itself is haunted, the likes of Vernon Kay and Mo Farrah will also be spooked by the incredible pyrotechnics.
The crew tested out the display, which sees huge pyres of flames shoot into the sky.
This gives the castle a terrifying effect – as if the campmates will soon be entering hell.
But that’s not all, the blue lights behind them appear like ghostly apparitions.

The campmates will have to deal with this when they enter the castle on November 15.
Gwrych Castle is thought to have been haunted for decades, including the previous owner, the Countess of Dundonald, who died in 1924.
Locals believe she fell out with caretaker Bill Price, who would lock up the library at night only to find it opened the next morning. Sometimes, items are said to have been mysteriously moved.
There are also rooms where dogs refuse to enter, including a room where the Countess’ spiritual healer is thought to have held seances.
