GARY Windass is locked up in prison as he’s exposed as Rick Neelan’s killer in Coronation Street in the new year.

Viewers know that Gary has managed to keep his involvement in Rick’s death secret for months in the soap, even pulling the wool over the eyes of Rick’s teenage daughter Kelly.
But it looks like killer Gary will finally be caught for his crimes as episodes of Coronation Street set to air in the New Year will see Gary sitting miserably in his police cell, knowing full well it’s game over.
Meanwhile, Kelly goes public with her suspicions about Gary killing her dad.
Later in the week, Simon tries to stop a manic Kelly when she tries to break into Gary’s shop and get justice for her dad.

Is Gary looking at a long stint behind bars?
For months Gary seemed to have it all under control, but Sarah dropped him in it when she leaked an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers in recent episodes – and led the police to search the woods for a body.
Tension will come to a head in episodes set to air this week when the authorities bring Gary in for questioning over Rick’s death.
But Sarah is furious when Gary is released, turning up at the salon flat and shouting Gary’s killer secret from the rooftops.
The upcoming scenes will see Maria overhear Sarah’s words and throw Gary out of their flat, certain there’s more going on than he’s letting on.
Matters then grow worse for Gary as Kelly calls at the flat and tells Maria that Gary is the only person still in contact with Rick.
Maria calls Gary over, determined to get answers once and for all.
