The soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick’s wartime basic Full Metallic Jacket is to obtain a vinyl reissue.
Mondo Information and Dying Waltz Recording Co. are overseeing the urgent, which is able to coincide with their tenth anniversary launch marketing campaign.
The soundtrack options tracks from Nancy Sinatra, The Trashmen, The Dixie Cups and music from Kubrick’s daughter Vivian, who went beneath the pseudonym Abigail Mead for the movie. All might be pressed onto a camouflage vinyl, with cowl artwork by Alan Hynes who has previously created work for The Black Keys, Queens Of The Stone Age and Jack White.
Moreover, 30 limited-edition, hand-poured discs of the soundtrack might be launched alongside the vinyl. All particular version purchases will include a two-pack of military males and flags, with their very own bag and header playing cards signed and numbered by Hynes.
