Eurovision 2024 Prediction
Historically speaking, nearly 70% of favourites going into the Eurovision Song Contest have ended up winning the competition. Switzerland is entering this year’s event as a frontrunner for the first time since 2007 with Nemo’s ‘The Code’. Interesting fact; prior to her international pop stardom, Celine Dion represented Switzerland in the 1988 Eurovision Final, defeating Scott Fitzgerald from the UK by just a single point.
Ukraine and Sweden have each won the competition three times in the last twenty years with iconic songs such as ‘Tattoo’ and ‘Euphoria’ by Loreen, and ‘Heroes’ by Mans Zelmerlow for Sweden; as well as ‘Stefania’ by Kalush Orchestra, ‘1944’ by Jamala, and ‘Wild Dances’ by Ruslana for Ukraine.
Based on the findings by PASINO.ch, the study suggests that Greece’s entry ‘Zari’, a pop song in C Major with a camelot of 8B and an energy level of 68% will closely match previous winner characteristics making it a strong competitor for Eurovision 2024.
One to watch out for, we can’t wait to see who wins!
