The youngster was sent to prison after attacking Adam Barlow, which led her to leave Weatherfield in April, 2021.
Faye had been convinced that he was pervert Ray, who sexually assaulted her in disturbing scenes broadcasted in 2020, and left him for dead.
Believing she would only be sent to prison for no longer than a year, Faye confessed to the crime and subsequently received a three-year sentence.

But after Debbie Webster’s visit to Ray Crosby, Faye was released on bail just in time for Christmas.
While adapting to life outside prison, Faye is led to a New Year’s Eve party by Emma (Alexandra Mardell), who had promised her driving lessons.
And everyday life turns out to be tougher than expected as Faye drives a tipsy Emma home, in scenes which are yet to air on Coronation Street, during the New Year.
The latest on coronation street
Viewers will watch in horror as, following their New Year’s Eve party, both women encounter more drama when they knock over Ted, a frail pensioner carrying his shopping, played by Duggie Brown.
When Ted turns out to have survived the accident, Emma and Faye are forced to make a decision.
With Faye on probation following her sentence, the accident could lead her to be sent back to prison unless the duo cover it up.
To protect her friend, Emma is determined to remain tight-lipped about the accident, adding another secret to her long list.
