Following her performance during Monday’s episode of DWTS, Lori Loughlin’s daughter gushed about her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
While Val told the judges that he loves working with Olivia, the contestant added that she has a lot of trust in him.
Olivia said: “It’s hard to trust anyone.”
DWTS fans rushed to Twitter to mock her comment, noting her family’s involvement in the college admissions scandal.
One viewer wrote: “Olivia Jade ‘it’s hard to trust people’ your parents went to Federal prison….”
Another added: “Olivia Jade just said, “It’s hard to trust anyone.” The liar who literally faked herself on crew to get into USC!!”
Alongside an unamused gif of Mary Poppins, a third chimed in: “That moment when Olivia Jade said it’s hard for her to trust people.”
However, she is likely most recognized for her parents’ involvement in the infamous college admissions scandal.
The pair, who tied the knot in 1997, also share daughter Isabella, 23.
Lori and Mossimo allegedly paid $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California.
The pair reportedly faked a photo of their two daughters rowing to get them admitted as crew recruits, even though neither of them participated in the sport.
The Full House star and her husband pleaded guilty in May 2020 to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in the admissions scandal.
Lori was released from federal lockup in Dublin, California, in December after two months.
Meanwhile, Mossimo was sentenced to five months in prison and was released from home confinement in April.
FANS SLAM OLIVIA
Not all DWTS viewers have welcomed Olivia with open arms, as she was previously slammed when host Tyra Banks introduced her as a “fashion, beauty, and lifestyle influencer” during the season premiere.
Fans were quick to take it to social media, as one person wrote: “Olivia, you are best known for your mom paying to get you into college.”
Another added: “We all know what you’re best known for and it’s not that,” while one called her a “spoiled brat” and said, “she is not an influencer!”
One chimed in: “Can’t believe they let this child on here. Did she pay her way on there, too?”
