They’re both having to isolate for 10 days while they recover from the virus, leaving fans speculating – and hoping – that the pair could return to the competition considering this week’s show is not taking place.
While in isolation, Vanessa shared a video on her Instagram Story showing her doing yoga, writing in the caption: ‘It’s so frustrating to have Covid without any symptoms.’
Shortly afterwards, she posted a series of videos apologising for the remark, acknowledging that the comment ‘was probably not the smartest thing to say’.
‘Hi guys, I just wanted to quickly jump on here and apologise for my latest post. I’m sorry when I said that it is frustrating to have Covid without any symptoms,’ she said.

‘I realise that is a bad thing of me to say because I know I’m so lucky to have Covid without any symptoms and I know that a lot of families and people are suffering so much because of bad Covid symptoms and I’m fully aware that was probably not the smartest thing to say. So I do apologise for it.’
Vanessa said that she was trying to convey how ‘it is mentally very very hard for me to process this whole situation’ which she is finding ‘mentally very frustrating’.
‘It is really hard to try to come to terms with it – that you’ve got this virus in you when you can’t even feel it, but it is literally pulling you out of everything in your life that’s bringing you joy in a way, so that’s what I mean,’ she stated.
‘It’s very frustrating, that sense of knowing you can’t do what you’re supposed to be doing. But again, I do feel very very lucky to not have symptoms, to be completely fine.’
Vanessa expressed concern for those who are ‘suffering so much physically and mentally’, adding that she has had ‘the toughest’ and ‘the worst few days’.
‘I’ve cried so much guys, but I’m trying to see the positives,’ she said.
In a post shared on his Instagram Story, Joe-Warren informed his followers that he is feeling ‘well and healthy’, saying that he is ‘currently self-isolating but managing to keep myself busy’.
Dancing On Ice is due to return on Sunday February 28 at 6pm on ITV.
