While Moira Dingle actress Natalie J Robb, 45, has had another big year in the Dales following her split from husband Cain, and the arrival of her troublesome brother Mackenzie Boyd.
Jen, 37, who has played saucy minx Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap for the last 12 years, has once again been at the centre of some of Hollyoaks’ biggest storylines.
Last month the Channel 4 soap celebrated its 25th anniversary and amid all the mystery of the McQueen blackmail drama Mercedes announced that she was pregnant.

The Inside Soap Awards will be hosting a virtual event on Monday 23rd November after being forced to cancel their annual glitzy London bash because of COVID.
A soap source said: “The Best Actress category is always one of the most fiercely fought on the night, and this year is no different.
“The final four have all been involved in some of soaps biggest storylines over the last 12 months, so any of them could win it.”

Speaking about this year’s awards, Editor of Inside Soap magazine, Steven Murphy said: “In a year where people have had to miss out on a lot of big events, we didn’t want the Inside Soap Awards to be one of them.
“The soaps have been a constant for people over lockdown – something familiar and comforting – so it’s great to be able to reward them for their hard work.
