Children In Need viewers were convinced Carrie Hope Fletcher dropped a swear word while performing on the BBC special.
The singer was joined by Andrew Lloyd Webber for a special rendition of Bad Cinderella.
She could be heard singing, ‘I’m bad Cinderella, I will not say goodbye.
‘You’ve been hateful since I met you. Barking mad Cinderella, flying high in the sky.’
However, some watching on from home appeared to mishear the lyrics for something a little more explicit.
Flocking to Twitter, Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer questioned: ‘Wait was that a sweary Cinderella song on #ChildrenInNeed pretty sure I heard an F bomb at 8pm! Hope it’s just me old ears xxx.’

‘Did Cinderella used the F word?? #ChildrenInNeed,’ another asked.
‘Did she just say “f**king mad Cinderella” on #ChildrenInNeed what the f**k?,’ one said.
Clearing up the confusion, a viewer insisted: ‘Guys she said, “Barking mad Cinderella”, no swearing in that song #ChildrenInNeed.’
Many others were full of praise for Carrie’s performance, stating they were ‘in tears’ over the scenes.
‘@CarrieHFletcher you smashed #ChildrenInNeed tonight. Brought tears to my eyes,’ a fan enthused.
‘Oh my @CarrieHFletcher on #ChildrenInNeed I just can’t what a star,’ a follower agreed. ‘That voice that song just amazing I have goosebumps.
‘@CarrieHFletcher wow! You did amazing on the #ChildrenInNeed show this year,’ a Twitter user penned.
‘Now that’s a show I’d love to see #badcinderella.’
Following the performance, Andrew opened up about a ‘very tough year’ for theatres, urging for venues to be reopened.
‘We’re going to open in April or May,’ he told host Chris Ramsey. ‘My crusade to get live performing arts venues open as soon as we possibly can.
‘We’ve tried all through the year, we will succeed but it’s vital.’
‘I want pantos to be up all around the country, all over the regions,’ he added. ‘Let’s get live venues open again.’
