TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has been struggling with her outfit choices in the wake of the birth of her fifth child, a fashion psychologist has claimed.
And she said the 31-year-old appears confused after ditching all her sexy clothes to find a new and more “wholesome” image.

Kailyn was spotted out walking in May wearing a baggy red hoodie and gray track pants. Her hair was tied back and she was makeup free.
Given her loose-hanging outfit, fans speculated that she might be pregnant with her sixth child.
Kailyn later posted a photo of herself wearing a sweatshirt on Instagram and getting her makeup done.
The July 14 photo showed the MTV alum had opted for a neutral look.
In an exclusive interview, fashion psychologist Professor Carolyn Mair, Ph.D. told The U.S. Sun: “Kailyn does not seem to be in a consistent space right now.
“Her style is a little bit all over the place.
“It was going in a direction of being sexy and glamorous and is now covered up and quite mismatched.
“Maybe Kailyn was not feeling that she wanted to be seen as sexy after her last baby.
“Maybe she does not want to be seen predominantly as a sexual being anymore or to send that message.
“She does not want to do sexy looks all the time as a mom as well.
“The current trend is to show off everything, but I can see Kailyn wants to break away from that.
“When she is wearing T-shirts, she is covered up, has her glasses on, and wears no makeup.
“Kailyn is showing she can be naked in a different way without wearing makeup.”
Mair added that Kailyn is sending a message that she no longer needs to wear overtly and obviously sexy looks.

During her July 4 Baby Mamas No Drama podcast, the reality TV star hinted that she had added to her family in November.
A source close to the podcast host claimed to The U.S. Sun: “Kailyn gave birth to a baby boy on November 20 with Elijah Scott.
“She has only told close family and friends.”
The Teen Mom 2’s new baby joins brothers Isaac, 13, whom Kailyn shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, as well as Lincoln, 9, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, and Lux, 5, and Creed, 2, with ex Chris Lopez.
Despite the rumors surrounding her ever-expanding family and changing body shape, Kailyn’s style choices have been scrutinized.

Our expert suggested the Pennsylvania native tried to switch things up since she first appeared on 16 and Pregnant in 2009.
“Kailyn was covered up at the start of her reality career and opted for quite ordinary looks,” said Mair.
“But there are lots of women who look like this and who have similar body shapes to Kailyn.
“Those people, especially, would really warm to that.
“Kailyn’s style became more glamorous and fun. She started to wear more red-colored clothing including red lipstick which gives a sexy look.
“She also seemed much more confident and looked sexier with age. She started to show a lot of cleavage and moved toward black lace.
“Through the years, her style was going in a sexy, glamorous direction.
“The long curly hair with the low-cut black outfit is much sexier than her earlier styles.
“Kailyn’s top looked like lingerie with its thin straps and she was showing her cleavage.”

Since leaving the Teen Mom franchise in May 2022, Kailyn’s social media pages continue to document her new family life.
Before then, Kailyn was also candid about her body transformation.
She spoke about going under the knife in 2016 in her book, Hustle and Heart.
“I care how I look,” she wrote after getting lip injections and a Brazilian butt lift.
She added: “I knew that being satisfied with my outer appearance would give me the confidence I needed to face the world head-on.”

Mair continued: “No matter how Kailyn has changed her looks people still relate to her.
“This is because she appears to be quite open about her personal struggles.
“This also makes a big difference in how we relate to her fashion.
“People who follow her are not just following her image.
“She is a little bit different from what we see with other celebrities because she seems to be very open with her fans about who she is.”

“Kailyn started to cover up again and has been wearing some rather mismatched outfits,” Mair continued.
“The recent red carpet image was not the best outfit, I would say.
“It looked odd but maybe she was feeling a bit mumsy. The jacket does not go with the rest of her outfit.
“I wonder if she threw on a jacket at the last minute because she felt exposed and wanted to cover up.
“When she was away on holiday earlier in the year, perhaps she was feeling amazing as we often do when we are away.
“She appeared to have stripped off on vacation and seemed fine with the bra and pants bikini on.
“With some of her recent T-shirt posts, she is at home and is smiling.
“Maybe having more kids has meant Kailyn wants to present a more wholesome look at home or when she is on the red carpet. At least for now.”
