“Oscars Afterparty: Ciara and Emily Ratajkowski Go Braless, Set Trend for No Undies”
LESS is definitely more – or so the attendees of this year’s Oscars seem to believe.
A-list stars such as Emily Ratajkowski and Ciara turned heads at the afterparty for last night’s star-studded event, ditching their bras for their eye-popping ensembles.

At the post-Oscars Vanity Fair bash, model and podcast host Emily Ratajkowski opted for a sheer, floor-length gown and went topless underneath.
Covering her modesty were two woven straps that just about held her in place.
Emily, who gave birth to son Sylvester in 2021, added nude-coloured underwear to finish off the look.
And not many people would be brave enough to pose in an all-mesh outfit with no bra in place, but not everyone is American singer and actress Ciara.

The stunning performer left little to the imagination, donning just a tiny black thong underneath, but she certainly ensured all eyes were on her.
Another star who opted for the barely-there look was Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio.
The mesh, backless dress revealed her tiny silver thong underneath.
Numerous other stars also adhered to the see-through outfit dress code, including Where the Crawdads Sing actress Daisy Edgar-Jones.
The popular star dazzled in a bejewelled sheer dress that was paired with a nude bodysuit underneath.
And Desperate Housewives favourite Eva Longoria ditched her bra wearing a sensational black gown, which was held in place with some thin black straps.

While stars stole the show outside on various red carpet events, inside at the Oscars, the biggest winner of the night was sci-fi comedy Everything Everywhere All at Once – scooping seven awards including best picture, director and three acting prizes.
The Oscars were being held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Jimmy Kimmel was hosting for the third time and for the first time since 2017.
The celebrities nominated for the award show included the crooning Austin Bulter, Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quan, Ana de Armas, Michelle Yeoh, and Angela Bassett for acting categories.

Steven Spielberg was nominated for directing for The Fabelmans, but lost out to big winner Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Lady Gaga was nominated for best song as were Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson for Lift Me Up from Wakanda Forever.
Gaga was one of the last to arrive, but they saved the best for last as she wore a Versace sheer runway dress that debuted “three days ago” and a Tiffany necklace from 1955.
The 95th Academy Awards had a new look this year, with the event’s creators opting for a champagne carpet instead of its infamous red catwalk, for the first time since 1961.

Red carpet creative consultants Lisa Love and Raúl Àvila were tasked to reimagine the carpet colour, so the talent could better transition from day arrivals to evening, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
“This is about getting ready for the golden hour that follows the show,” Love explained of the change to a champagne carpet.
Host Jimmy Kimmel told The Hollywood Reporter that: “we got it for a very good price downtown.”

He also joked the colour change was to preempt drama: “People have been asking if there’s going to be any trouble this year, is there going to be any violence this year? I certainly hope not,” he said.
“But if there is, I think the decision to go with a champagne carpet rather than a red carpet shows how confident we are that no blood will be shed,” he morosely added.
