JAMIE Lynn Spears will never eclipse her sister despite her efforts on Dancing With the Stars, according to a psychologist.
She suggested that the 32-year-old actress may even start to feel more “vulnerable and insecure” as she struggles to prove herself on set.

Jamie Lynn kicked off her run on Dancing With the Stars on September 26 but failed to make an impact with some subpar moves.
After working through a tango with her partner, Alan Bersten, 29, Jamie Lynn scored just 15 out of 30 from the judges.
She followed up the performance by posting on Instagram, where she thanked fans.
Early this year, Jamie Lynn embraced another opportunity to be on reality TV, competing in the Fox series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
On the show, she broke down and admitted to struggling with low self-esteem, alluding to living in Britney’s shadow.
“Growing up, my sister became worldwide famous when I was very young,” she said at the time.
“I’m so proud of her, love her to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.”
In an exclusive interview, Jo Hemmings told The U.S. Sun that the younger Spears sister still seems to be struggling with this issue.
“Jamie Lynn’s DWTS Instagram posts following her performance were gushing,” she said.
“She does not seem to acknowledge any criticism.
“This shows uber-confidence, but also, she is beginning to feel vulnerable and insecure.
“Jamie Lynn has a way to go to achieve a fraction of Britney’s success and popularity.”
“She was probably right in feeling that she was in the shadow of her sister.
“Jamie Lynne needs to acknowledge that this shadow will always be there.”
Hemmings noted that Jamie Lynn may be feeling frustrated that she can’t hype up a fan base as quickly as Britney could.

The famous sisters have endured an openly tumultuous relationship through the years.
This intensified toward the end of Britney’s 13-year conservatorship.
The nasty fallout also took place over social media during the 2021 court case.
Britney had told the judge she wanted to sue her family and called out Jamie Lynn for her lack of support
But Jamie Lynn fired back: “I support my sister. I love my sister. Always have, always will.”
“As long as she’s happy. Let’s keep praying. That’s all.”
The rift played out through major life events, and Jamie Lynn did not attend Britney’s 2022 wedding.
It’s also been incredibly public, with Jamie elbowing out from under Britney even her memoir, Things I Should Have Said.
“I hate to burst my sister’s bubble, but my book is not about her. I can’t help that I was born a Spears too,” Jamie Lynn remarked at the time.

Hemmings noted the sister’s rivalry is very much alive.
“This all still feels quite competitive, even though one is in a big dance show on TV and the other is dancing on her own around her house,” she said.
“Dance still comes much more naturally to Britney than Jamie Lynn for one.
“Britney’s dancing style seems to take much more effort than her sister.”
Jamie Lynn’s appearance on the ABC show came following reports the sisters were starting to patch things up.
The Toxic hitmaker has been managing a tricky divorce at home.

From her luxury Californian mansion, Britney has been posting videos dancing with knives.
Hemmings continued: “Britney has been through such a horrendous time of late.
“Still, as far as her huge fame goes, she has nothing to prove.
“Her fan base continues to be one of the biggest — and most enduring — in the world.”
Jamie Lynn, Hemmings said, will likely be hoping Britney is watching her on TV at home.
“She would no doubt be hoping that she is proud of her,” she said.

“Despite the competitive nature of this relationship, the youngest one is always going to feel like this.
“Jamie Lynn will always be trying to prove she is as good as her older sister.”
Jamie Lynn first shot to fame on Nickelodeon’s reboot of All That, followed by a starring role as Zoey Brooks on the teen sitcom Zoey 101.
After completing its sequel film Zoey 102, she also played Noreen Fitzgibbons in the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias.
Britney, meanwhile, is a global pop icon, amassing millions of fans, awards, and hit music releases.
The sisters’ personal lives could not be more different.

Three-times married Britney is single following her split from actor Sam Asghari.
Jamie Lynn is married to businessman Jamie Watson and has two daughters, Maddie Brian, 15, and Ivey, 5.
“Her family is Jamie Lynn’s biggest asset — her girls and her mom supporting her must be very reassuring
“But there is a danger of her trying too hard to alter that path.
“Jamie Lynn will never shake off the enormous lasting fame and attention that Britney has had.
“She needs to be able to carry on developing her career.
“Jamie Lynn should accept that she is not in a permanent competition that she can not win.
“Dancing With the Stars will not change everything.”
