“Expert: Michael Strahan’s Relationship Fear Revealed Through ‘Sour Kisses’ with Girlfriend”

MICHAEL Strahan’s cagey relationship with his thirty-something girlfriend looks problematic, a body language expert has claimed.

And she thinks the couple’s attempts to show genuine affection towards one another in front of the camera are poor.

Michael has been with Kayla, 33 for around eight years – during which he has appeared to want to keep their relationship under wraps.

Since 2015, the pretty slim blonde has only been photographed alongside the TV host a handful of times.

One rare occasion was on March 18 when the pair were spotted strolling home together from a gym in New York City.

At the time, Florida-born Kayla was decked out in casual gray sweatpants and was makeup free with her hair pulled back into a top knot.

Her TV host boyfriend also looked relaxed in a black beanie and shorts while showing Kayla something on his phone.

The day before, Kayla was also pictured leaving Michael’s New York apartment building.

Michael, 51, and Kayla’s outings came several weeks after the couple hit the red carpet together in Los Angeles on January 23.

Michael was celebrating getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

But as they shared their first public kiss and posed for the cameras, body language expert Patti Wood says she noticed a build-up of snags.

In an exclusive interview, she told The U.S. Sun: “Michael can appear super uncomfortable when with Kayla.

“In public, he looks afraid and tense with her and they’re unnatural with each other.

“On the Walk of Fame red carpet when they go for the kiss, Michael’s whole body isn’t into it.

“He’s not reaching around for her.

“Their kiss isn’t fully in the lips collapsing into each other, and his heart isn’t oriented correctly.

“Michael’s kiss almost looks like he’s tasting something sour.

“He’s not looking at Kayla as if to say ‘this is my love’ or, ‘this is my honey’.

“Kayla’s also uncomfortable, she’s unsure of herself and seems more worried about how she looks.

“Bizarrely, she’s wearing this jacket that covers up most of her body, and that’s not her normal standard.

“Their gestures in Los Angeles are different though from the recent images of them out on the streets of New York wearing their gym gear.

“Kayla then showed him a ‘nesting’ gesture while they look happier and relaxed.

“My theory is that being in public as a couple as well as Michael’s family discombobulates or frustrates their relationship.

“These things make it stressful.

“But perhaps it’s also because Kayla has got a history and he has two other families.

“The gestures in public don’t look good.”

While little is known of Kayla’s past relationships, the former strip club cocktail waitress appears to have a chequered history.

According to RadarOnline, when Kayla was 18 she was arrested for grand theft for allegedly stealing $6K worth of jewelry from her grandmother.

She was also arrested for disorderly conduct in 2016 after allegedly getting into a scramble in Port Charlotte, Florida, and again according to RadarOnline.

Today, Kayla operates a beauty-based wellness startup called Fizzness.

According to her website, the concept brings: “A daily dose of energy and beauty with antioxidants and adaptogens.”

Meanwhile, Michael has found massive fame across America and has amassed around 1.5 million Instagram followers.

The former New York Giants player enjoyed a brief stint as Kelly Ripa’s co-host on Live! With Kelly before heading over to ABC’s Good Morning America.

Personally, Michael separated from his first wife, Wanda Hutchins, in 1996 and they had two children, Tanita, 30, and Michael Junior, 27

He went on to marry Jean Muggli in 1999 before their divorce in 2006.

They share twin daughters Isabella and Sophia, 18.

“When Michael and Kayla are seen strolling in New York on their own, he has a goofiness about him,” notes Patti.

“He shows that silliness that I saw even at the beginning of that Walk of Fame red carpet but only when he was with his friends.

“When he and Kayla are looking at his phone, he’s asking ‘oh, are we having fun here?’ and his shoulders here are nice and relaxed.

“Kayla’s also nesting into him and she naturally goes into him.

“This is likely because they’re on their own and where she has his full attention.”

Our expert also notes that while Michael’s TV contemporaries enjoy posting images of their beloveds online, images of Kayla rarely show up on his social media.

The former athlete posted an image of his family with Kayla on Christmas Day in 2021.

He then shared another featuring Kayla on May 6, 2022, where they’re seen standing with his family and celebrating Cinco De Mayo.

“In the couple of images that Michael has more recently shared online, he and his daughters are a unit,” says Patti.

“They all have matching body language.

“They’re all arms around each other and smiling and looking happy.

“Kayla though has needed to orient her body totally different just to be towards them.

“There’s some tension for her but they’re all relaxed and have this open-mode body language.

“She shows the same language in both Instagram images in that she looks like she feels the need to make an effort to be with this family.

“Even in her hands, the fingers are reaching back and show tension.

“Little appears to have changed for Kayla since 2016 when she was also pictured with Michael’s family at the tennis tournament.

“Here Kayla doesn’t look happy and has the glare of death on her face in one image.

“It appears because of the lack of attention she’s getting from Michael that she’s angry.

“There seems to have been tension between them in 2016.

“In many couples, where one or more of them have multiple families and where that other person also has incredible fame, there’s a lot of things that can affect the relationship.

“So, to me, in their own little bubble, we can see they’re happier and they’re relaxed.

“They look natural.

“But in these other images and the videos when the family and fame come into play, it’s not good.

“This might be a tough path for Michael and Kayla to navigate as a whole and over time.

“But it’s not an unusual one.”
