The couple made it clear they will follow their own rules in the romantic process, and they decided they still wanted to experience the joy of the famous hometown dates.
Now their romance is officially out in the open, the smitten couple packed their bags and went on a road trip which began with Clare, 39, giving Dale the ‘ultimate tour of Sacramento’.
Delighted Dale, 32, shared a video on Instagram as he wrote: ‘Finally the VIP Tour of Sacramento! #Hometown.’
Then the duo made their way over to South Dakota so Dale could show off his home state, and introduce Clare to his family.
Hairstylist Clare couldn’t contain her excitement as Dale showed her the sites in Sioux Falls before they enjoyed dinner with his sister Robyn Moss at Crawford’s Bar and Grill.
The next day saw them journey through the snow to pay a visit to Dale’s elder sister Amber, who has physical and intellectual special needs.
The former NFL player shared a video of the couple dancing in front of Amber’s window, while she looked out at them from the safety of her room.
Dale explained: ‘Due to Covid my sister has been unable to leave her care facility since March and has never once complained and kept this same joy and consistency every day!
‘Since Amber couldn’t come to the party @clarecrawley and I brought the party to her ??. #Family #Hometown.’
It’s nice to know these lovebirds are still going strong.
The Bachelorette airs Tuesday on ABC.
