You’ve been blow drying your hair all wrong…here’s why your fringe isn’t sitting right

IT turns out many of us are making some vital mistakes when it comes to handling our hairdryers. 

And it’s probably the reason why no matter how much blood, sweat and tears you put into blow drying your hair, it can be too tricky to nail that ‘fresh from the salon’ look by yourself.

Many of us eventually give up, opting to run a straightener through our newly washed tresses despite spending hours blasting it with hot air.

From using the wrong setting to drying it in the wrong direction, you may be surprised by some of the common mistakes you’re making

But one woman is here to save the day, as she has shared a video of her luscious locks to TikTok. 

Naomi Ford, who goes by the name of naomichantellehair on TikTok, has demonstrated exactly how to blow-dry your hair, and get the perfect fringe. 

She captions the video: “How I blowdry my fringe using all NAOMI CHANTELLE products, Lux hair dryer, large blow dry brush, lux comb.” 

She begins by grabbing her round thermal brush – which has a barrel made of material that conducts heat – and her hair dryer. 

Naomi then partitions a small chunk of hair at the front of her head, and holds it firmly, before brushing it out – her hair is dry throughout this.

She then uses the round brush and heat from the hairdryer to blow dry it, before rolling the hair up close to her head and applying heat. 

Then she does the same, but places the hair on the other side of the brush and pulls upwards, using the cold option on the hair dryer. 

After doing so, Naomi then uses a comb to partition the hair and let it fall down.
