Woman swears by HAIR conditioner to take off her make-up and she’s completely divided opinion
MAKE-UP wipes, micellar water, cleansing balms – there’s a whole host of ways to remove make-up at the end of the day.
But one woman has sparked a fierce debate on TikTok, after admitting she’s always used cheap HAIR conditioner to remove her eye make-up.

“Here’s why you should be buying really cheap hair conditioner,” Sammar began her TikTok video.
“And no, I’m not going to use it for my hair.
“Since I started wearing make-up, my mum taught me that using hair conditioner is the best way to remove your eye make-up.
“And I’m going to show you guys how.”
She then squeezed a pea sized amount onto her fingers, before working it into her eyes.
“You’re going to look like a raccoon for a few seconds,” she laughed.
“Get it right into those eyelashes – it really really helps take off your mascara. Watch it come off, ready?!”
“Because you use this on your hair, it’s really really gentle on your eyelashes.”
And while there was no doubt that Sammar’s eyes looked clean after her conditioner removal, some people were more than a little aggravated by the hack.
“The conditioner will clog pores and can dry out skin depending on ingredients,” one person wrote.
“this would definitely give me millia on my eyelids,” another commented.

“This would give me like 7 styes at once,” a third person added.
Others were on board for the conditioner trick, with one writing: “best tip I’ve ever heard!!”
“yess thought I was the only one who did this,” someone else added.
“GENIUS,” a third wrote, to which Sammar replied: “It works so well. Honestly there’s a few people in these comments who have been doing the same forever and they all swear by it!!!”
Sammar also took the comments section to clarify her make-up removing routine for critics, writing: “Let me clarify. This is the best bang for your buck way.
“There’s obviously probably ‘better’ products on the market but this has worked for me.
“I also WASH my face after removing my eye makeup with a high-quality cleanser (I personally have been using la roche posay for years!)”
