ALDI’S new line of dupes has sent social media users into overdrive, with people travelling for miles to snag the economical alternatives.
But one savvy shopper maintains that it’s Primark that really offers the best swaps for high-priced staples, and set about compiling a list of her favourites.

Ahlam, who posts on social media using the handle @AhlamWorld, is a Birmingham-based beauty and fashion influencer who regularly shares her product suggestions with her 95,000 followers.
In a recent clip, she took a whiz around her local Primark to show viewers the dupes that she swears are second to none.
Her first suggestion is the Up All Night Setting Spray, which sells for just £5 and is a dead ringer for Urban Decay’s £28 All Nighter one.
“This has shocked me to my core,” the make-up maestro told viewers while she showed off the bottle.
Next is the store’s £3.50 PS… Mascara, which Ahlam says is a fab swap for Maybelline’s £11 Sky High.
“I’m pretty sure everyone has tried the OG,” she adds, but Primark’s version is less than a third of the price.
“Why spend £20,” Ahlam then asks while holding up a full set of make-up brushes, when you can get Primark’s dupes of Real Techniques’ brushes for just 4?
She then gave a shout out to the PS… My Perfect Colour Tinted Moisturiser.
The product is a great swap for IT Cosmetics’ pricey £37 CC Cream, but will set you back just a fiver.
“They didn’t just dupe the packaging,” the beauty whizz notes – “they duped the ingredients, which is AMAZING.”
Her final suggestion is to pick up the PS Sheer Hydration Lip Gloss Balm, which is just like Mac’s Squirt Plumping Gloss, but sells for a whopping £18.50 less.
Ahlam added a caption revealing “the first and last one SHOCKED me” because they’re so similar to the original items.
The video received more than 55k views, with people flooding the comments with appreciation for Primark’s affordable offerings.
“The mascara is a 10/10,” one user confirmed.
“Damnnn I need to go,” another added.
And it’s not the only Primark dupe that’s got shoppers in a tizz recently.
Fans have been racing to pick up the store’s cosy Oodie dupes, priced at just £16.
