THE heatwave is finally over, which means the tans we worked so hard on over the last few months will slowly disappear.
However, one beauty fan has revealed the simple juice she drinks daily to give herself a tan ‘all year round.’

Daisy Wolanski took to social media to share her super simple recipe.
“Get a healthy natural tan daily,” she captioned the clip.
And the best part is you won’t have to wait for the sun to come out or cover yourself in fake tan to achieve results.
Plus, her recipe is actually pretty healthy overall.


To begin, Daisy took a bag of carrots and cut them into smaller pieces.
She also added two roots of ginger, two lemons, a root of turmeric, an orange, apricots, peaches, and physalis.
She then blended them all together until smooth and poured the concoction into individual ‘shot’ glasses to grab and go daily.
People were stunned by the concoction and how it would give them a tan.
But it turns out there is some science behind it.
Although it won’t give you a ‘tan’ the compound beta-caroten, found in orange fruits and vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes can tint the skin if enough is consumed.
When eaten in large amounts, it may contribute to a slight change in skin hue, rather than making you tanned, explained Abbas Kanani, a pharmacist at Chemist Click Online Pharmacy.
The good news is eating loads of carrots won’t do you any harm even if you don’t get a ‘tan’.
This vegetable is packed with vitamin A, which is essential for healthy skin.
It also contains antioxidant properties that can help protect the skin against UV ray damage.
And of course, the hack is much safer than trying to get a tan from the sun which can harm your skin and cause skin cancer.
The video posted to her TikTok account @daisy.wolanski has since gone viral with over four million views and 500k likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section of the post.

Another commented: “This is why I am so randomly tanned because I eat like 2 huge carrots a day for lunch.”
