A YOUNG woman has revealed that she ignored her dodgy patch test and got her lip filler dissolved, but it was a big mistake.
Courtney Bell explained that she only had 1ml of filler in her pout, but made the decision to have it dissolved.

However, whilst Courtney was expecting for her pout to become smaller in size after the appointment, instead, it quadrupled in size.
Not only this, but Courtney explained that her lips were so swollen, they felt as though they were going to explode.
She also claimed that talking was impossible, as her tongue and neck were severely swollen.
Sharing her story online, she took to social media to document the different stages after having the filler dissolved.
Showing off her swollen pout, the beauty fan said: “This is me before I got my lips dissolved. I’ve got 1ml in my lips.
“This is me straight after the appointment, so literally straight after.”
Courtney then shared a variety of pictures at different points, as her lips continued to grow in size.
She continued: “This is about two hours later. They felt like they had air in them and that they were gonna pop and I couldn’t speak at this point.
“This is how I went to sleep – very sore. And this is how I woke up. As you can see, my face is really inflamed and red and really sore and this is when I started to get worried.”
While Courtney expected that her lips would reduce in size the next morning, things quickly went from bad to worse.
She added: “This was like an hour into that day, when I woke up.
“I couldn’t talk at this point, I was spitting and words weren’t being said properly.
“My tongue had grown a lot, so that was quite swollen.
“My neck was so swollen as well.
“I decided to go to the hospital. The doctor gave me some tablets to take and also noticed the patch test on my arm, which he said that the red mark shows an allergic reaction, so it shouldn’t have really been done.”
Courtney later confirmed: “I had it done in a licensed salon.”
Courtney’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @courtneyb24x, has clearly shocked many, as it was posted just one day ago, but has quickly amassed a staggering 176,200 views.
Social media users were stunned at Courtney’s allergic reaction and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Oh my, that looks so painful.”
Another added: “This must have been so scary.”
A third commented: “Can’t believe they injected you, that’s clearly a positive patch test.”
Meanwhile, one user tagged a loved one and wrote: “This is why I don’t want you to get lip filler.”
According to Pro Aesthetics, while dissolving lip fillers is very safe, there is a small risk of an allergic reaction to the hyaluronidase injected.
This reaction may cause the injected treatment to continue to dissolve the natural hyaluronic acid in your lips present there before your lip fillers treatment.
It is recommended that you get a patch test prior to your appointment and please note that dissolving lip fillers is only ever safe when performed by medically trained hands, so make sure you visit an aesthetic practitioner who is a trained medical professional.
