TIME was of the essence when it came to getting extra long tresses.
One hair guru’s dedication to her DIY hair growth oil proved to be unmatched as she was willing to go the distance for her long locks.

“If you see an Indian girl with these many curry leaves and you’re thinking she’s making curry at 7 am — no, she’s making hair oil. God,” said Eileen (@eileenxastrid).
It seemed it was never too early to start on her “magical hair growth oil.”
“Just look at this hair,” she said.
Her long, lustrous locks were all the proof we needed that her potent potion was working its magic.
“This wasn’t even here six months ago. So if something works, I’m going to keep doing it,” she said.
She was not going to take any chances.
“And yes, it’s 7 am, because that’s how important it is to me,” she said.
She made sure to get a head start on her hair growth oil after promising her sister that she would make it after constant pestering.

With a goal of getting it done by that evening, she started on her serum by adding some avocado oil — a lot of it — to a pot on the stove.
“I’m just going to dunk that in,” she said.
She then moved on to adding some almond oil to the mix.
“Don’t worry about how much oil you’re using. What you put in, you get out.”
Once the pot was hot enough, she dumped in her curry leaves and let everything simmer.
She also wanted to make sure she didn’t skip on using this next ingredient — Amla.
“The last time I made hair oil I forgot to put Amla and then my grays started showing so girl, I want my black hair back.”
Eileen was not about to make that mistake again as she added enough of the product, also known as Indian gooseberry, to the pot.
An antioxidant-rich food produced in nature with evidence of containing the healing powers of Vitamin C, Amla sells for $16.99 at Organic India.
The berry has also been studied for multiple benefits and uses including boosting immunity and even slowing down the aging process.Â
After adding one more for good luck, she stirred everything together and simply advised making sure that nothing was getting burnt in the process.
Now that the oil was starting to simmer even more, she put a lid on and let it cool down for about an hour before adding fenugreek and rosemary oil drops.
She let the VapoRub-smelling concoction cool down one last time before claiming hair growth victory.
“It’s going to be ours,” she said.
Her fans were also impressed with her long-strand success story and had questions of their own.
“I wonder if this works on Afro-textured hair,” said one follower.
“It works for all hair types! You’ll love it. Give it a try,” she replied.
“Your hair is awesome,” said another watcher.
