He said: “This is Chalou from Lidl, I paid 35 for this 75ml bottle.
This is a pretty damn good dupe of Chloe, the eau de parfum, let’s talk about it”
He said if you were after a floral, light femine scent to wear every day, much like the Chloe perfume, then you can’t go wrong with the Lidl fragrance.
Describing the scent, Thomas said: “It opens with this aggressivley feminin floral pink bouquet.”

Notes include sweet peas, honeysuckle, magnolia and musk.
The fragrance pro added that if he didn’t already know it was the dupe from Lidl, he wouldn’t be able to tell it wasn’t the orginal.
“Good fragrance can cost you an absolute fortune,” he added.
“Similarly, good fragrance that you can throw in your handbag, throw in your cluthc, take for a night out, can also cost £5 and you can buy it from Lidl.”
Thomas added that he didn’t think it was the best perfume ever made, but noted it was brilliant for everyday wear no matter the season or occasion.
The clip posted to his TikTok account @tatkjoy has since gone viral with over 170k views and over 3,000 likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments and many raved about the cheap perfume.
One person wrote: “Chloe used to be my fav. I might pop down to Lidl.”
Another commented: “I have both. The dupe lasts very long.’
“It is true, I bought it today,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I use it all the time it’s beautiful.”
“I have used this for years,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “I love this perfume!”
