A self-proclaimed “dupe finder” revealed that the new copies will hit shelves on 10th December, and urged shoppers to hit their local that day to see what they can snap up.
She then went on to share some of the dupes she’s most excited about, including the £8.49 Lacura Caviar Gold serum – a dupe of the Chantecaille 24K gold intense serum.
There’ll be a La Soie serum that’s a £6.99 copy of La Roche-Posay’s £39 Effaclar serum, as well as a moisturiser in the new, luxurious La Soie range, which is a dupe of the La Roche-Posay Nutritic Intense Riche cream, but is just £6.99 compared to £21.
Other skincare dupes include a £4.99 CC serum – very similar to the By Terry one, £47.45.
And the Lacura Vitabase primer and eyeshadow primer are back, as well as the Miracle cream – a dupe of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour cream, but £23.51 cheaper.
But if you’re more of a haircare fan, you’re going to want to try the Aldi version of the Shark hairdryer – £14.99 compared to £150.
They’ve also got silk scrunchies for £4.99 instead of Slip’s £39, and a three-piece dupe set of Olaplex haircare for £9.99 instead of £84.
And people were quick to comment on the TikTok video, with one writing: “Olaplex dupe made my hair feel so nice and healthy, never tried the original before so cant do a comparison but i recommend it!!”
“Olaplex copy is good, don’t know how it compares because I wouldn’t pay that but mine and daughter’s hair in great shape,” another added.
“Olaplex dupes are very good,” a third commented.
“I need the bobbi brown dupes in my life!” someone else said.
“Never have any at any stores near me ever,” another sighed.
“It may look the same but does it perform the same?” someone else asked.
With another responding: “Nope.. I’ve found whenever I’ve tried a dupe it never compares to the original!”
“I never see any of the products in my local Aldis!” someone else said.
