A YOUNG woman has revealed that she wanted new perfume, but couldn’t justify the price, so tried out the dupes from Home Bargains instead.
Beauty fan Emily Megan Mays explained that she nabbed two of the perfume dupes from the high-street chain, for just £1.99 each, and was left stunned at how nice they smelt.

Thrilled with her cheap finds from Home Bargains, Emily took to social media, proudly showing off her bargain buys.
Posting online, Emily shared her clip with the caption ‘The BEST perfume dupes! Run, don’t walk to Home Bargains.’
She then said: “Hey, guys. So I’ve just been to Home Bargains. I basically just ran in there because it’s next to my gym and I’m basically procrastinating to go to the gym.
“I went in there for two things, an energy drink and some bin bags. And of course, I’ve come out with loads of stuff.”
Emily then shared the items she nabbed in her huge haul, including energy drinks, deodorant and bin bags.
She then proudly showed off her new perfumes, as she continued: “But the main reason I’m doing this video is because they have some dupes in there of perfumes and I picked two up because I just couldn’t believe the price.
“So they’re these little 50ml ones and they are £1.99 each and they’re basically dupes of good perfumes.
“So for the women, they had four to choose from. They had a Chanel No. 5 and they had this one – which is obviously Marc Jacobs, Daisy,
“It actually smells really good. I sprayed it just looking around Home Bargains thinking nothing of it, and I was like, ‘oh, my God, that’s actually really nice.’
“I really need perfume at the moment – mine have run out, but I just can’t justify the price at the moment, so yeah I picked this up – £1.99.
“And I got this one, which is called Opal Black, which is a dupe of the Saint Laurent Black Opium.
“So yeah, run, don’t walk, to Home Bargains to grab these.
“There weren’t many left on the shelf.”
Emily’s TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @emilymeganmays, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 23,500 views.
Social media users were stunned at the price of the affordable dupes and were eager to share this in the comments.
One person said: “£1.99?!?! Wowza bargain.”
To which Emily replied: “Ikr!! They smell great as well!”
Whilst another added: “I got the Si one a few weeks ago and it’s lush.
“I get compliments when I wear it. Tbh it doesn’t last that long but for £2 who’s complaining.”
