The hair care fan took to TikTok to share her before and after pictures as well as give an insight into what her trick is.
Mandana, who has managed to transform her hair without forking out a fortune, has shared an “easy” hack that “everyone” should be doing in their beauty routine.
She shared it as part of her ‘hair growth journey,’ in which she aimed to get her hair thick again.
Mandana is advising people to stop using chemical based products to help hair grow and use natural products like castor oil, argan oil, olive oil and Jojoba oil instead.
She uses a 0.25mm dermaroller two to three times a week and rolls it on her scalp to stimulate hair growth.
Mandana then uses a hair oiling treatment two to three times a week on hair wash days.
She first starts off by applying an oil onto her scalp, and then leaves it on for three to five hours before washing off.
Mandana also makes rosemary water at home and uses this daily to stimulate hair growth and strengthen hair.
As well as the oiling, Mandana also takes multivitamins and eats foods that contain high protein.
What is a derma roller?
A 2021 review found that microneedling may be more effective at increasing hair growth than minoxidil.
These are devices which have microneedles that prick the skin and may stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow to the scalp.
They work by causing micro-injuries to the skin without significantly damaging the skin carrier.
Because they cause micro-injuries, it means they heal quickly and lead to stimulation of collagen.
It is important that derma roller users sterilise them, and ensure the scalp is dry and clean before using it on their head.
Users must be sure to use the device on the scalp horizontally, vertically and diagonally, according to experts at Medical News Today.

How often should you wash your hair?
According to stylist Scott Miller of Bauhaus salons in Cardiff, Wales, unless you’ve been working “really hard at the gym
- Long hair: Wash no more than twice a week, shampooing twice to make sure it’s really clean and towel-drying before you use the conditioner.
If the hair looks flat at the roots, use a dry shampoo.
- Coloured Hair: To keep those natural oils that help condition your colour-treated hair, shampoo just two or three times per week
This will also help your colour last longer and help maintain the health in your hair.
- Curly Hair: Experts recommend washing your hair no more than every other day, and as little as once per week if your hair is particularly dry.
- After A Salon Blowdry: A good blowdry should last you a week.
What are the benefits of rosemary water?
Experts recommend using rosemary water on oily scalp and using rosemary essential oil on dry scalp for up to three times a day.
Not only does it stimulate hair growth and thickens your locks at the same time, it also helps to reduce dandruff and relieve itchy scalp.
Rosemary water can be made by boiling two cups (470ml) of water in a pan, and then add three sprigs of fresh rosemary before letting the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
After that time is up, remove the post from the heat and let it cool for 30 minutes before straining the water into a spray bottle.
