WITH so many dupes on the market, it can be hard to figure out which ones are actually worth your cash.

Bambi, who posts on social media as @BambiDoesBeauty, regularly shares her encyclopaedic make-up knowledge with her 223k TikTok followers.
And in a recent video, the cosmetics whizz shared which bargain buys she reckons are every bit as good as their pricey counterparts.
Bambi began with a product that she swears is so good, she really “wants to gatekeep it”.
“If you sell it out,” she joked with viewers, “I’m gonna be so mad.”
The item in question is Revolution’s Skin Gloss highlighter, which retails for just £8, and according to Bambi is “one of the best highlighters for face and body”.
It gives an “iridescent mermaid gloss”, Bambi gushes.
The make-up maestro’s next shout out is for Vaseline in a stick, which she swears is the best product for slugging – a beauty trend where you generously apply a jelly-like product as the final step in your routine to help seal in your skincare products.
“I use it for my eyebrows, for my lips, for slugging everything,” Bambi tells viewers.
She then recommends Sanctuary Spa body scrubs, for all those fake tan aficionados out there.
“They do the best scrubs,” she tells followers, “it literally smells like a beach in a tub. They have the perfect ratio of grit to oils.”
Bambi next moves on to what she calls “one of the best beauty buys like ever”: the Body Shop’s Cleansing Balm.
According to the influencer, it’s “so good at removing make-up, really good for sensitive skin, and you can also use it around your eyes” – making it perfect for getting off stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
Bambi then gives a shout out to Elf’s £8 Glow Stick, which she claims “gives this iridescent, non-glittery, beautiful glow”.
“If you put this in different packaging,” she assures followers, “it would sell for 10 times the price – it’s THAT good.”
Her final shout is for Primark’s hair rollers, which will only set you back £1.50 for an eight pack.
“I have bought ones from really expensive department stores”, she confesses, but Primark’s are “the perfect size, because they’re a tight curl, but when you brush it out, it just gives much more volume”.
The informative clip racked up a huge 16k likes on the app, with viewers singing each product’s praises in the comments.
“That Revolution highlighter is the exact same one they use for Strictly,” one user added, “my friend got me one from set! And it’s so good.”
“The Body Shop Cleansing Balm is amazing,” another added. “I love it.”
A third user shared her own helpful hack in the comments, writing that: “The Body Shop Cleansing Balm is the only thing I can get Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara off with, and it gets makeup out of clothes too.”
