With more dimensions than the former, this variation involves between two to eight players, and there are no community cards. Once again, the game begins when two hole cards are placed face down on the table; they are then joined by a third card, which lies face up, known as the door card.
Next, you’re dealt a further seven cards, three of which lie face down and two facing up. You then have to produce the best combination using only five of those cards. During a hand, your opponents are required to show you some of their cards, and after the last round, all hands will be revealed. The winner is the player that holds the best five-card hand.
High and Low Chicago
High Chicago and Low Chicago are similar to Seven-card Stud, but these games are all about the highest or lowest hands in the game. In High Chicago, the player with the highest value spade hole card will receive half the pot, whereas in Low Chicago the player with the lowest spade will win half of the pot.Â
Both games begin with every player receiving one card, which lies facing up. The player with the lowest value card will kick off the game with a bring-in bet. Following this, every player will place a bet, with the option to fold, call or raise their wager.Â
