Medicinal or recreational, marijuana is one of the top psychotropic substances in the world. As a matter of fact, almost 10% of weed smokers spend more than $100 every trip to the marijuana store.
It’s time to save a little. Have you ever thought about growing marijuana at home?
When you grow your own weed at home, you know exactly what you’re smoking. When you buy random bags, you could end up smoking harmful chemicals or worse. You also get more when you grow it yourself.
Some states allow you to grow a certain number of plants. Six or more home-grown marijuana plants is a lot of weed to smoke.

Establish a Grow Room
States in the US have a limit on how many plants you can grow at one time. Don’t go hiring a builder. Start your grow room in a small space.
A grow room can be as large as a small spare bedroom or as small as a cabinet. Don’t go the extreme if this is your first time. Start with a small space and migrate once your stash outgrows its current home.
Make sure your grow space is clean and sanitized. Dirty spaces invite contaminants, bugs, and mold.
It should also be light-controlled. You should be able to let light in and make the room dark when needed.
Finally, it should be temperature-controlled, as outdoor air is the enemy to homegrown weed. Be sure to seal your grow room off to keep fresh outdoor air from seeping in.
Also, keep in mind that you’re starting with a small room, so start with a small pot. Don’t load up on big pots. You need room and space to attend to each plant individually.
If this is too much, start with a Seedo Grow Box. Once you have success with this, then grow in a larger space.
Lighting
As we touched on earlier, lighting in your grow room is extremely important. Expect to pay a few extra pennies for good lighting. It pans out in the long run.
If your light-controlled grow room has a window where natural sunlight comes in, that’s great. You can buy blackout curtains to make it dark when necessary.
Natural light can become overwhelming to a growing stash, so invest in LEDs and fluorescent bulbs. LEDs are optimal with indoor grow plants. They provide the right amount of light needed when the sun goes down.
You’ll also do well with induction grow lights. They’re moderate choices to LEDs.
Feed Your Stash
Marijuana is a plant, and plants need nutrients to grow. You have two amazing options when it comes to feeding your own home-grown.
You have the option of purchasing pre-formulated marijuana plant nutrients. If you prefer to do it yourself, compost works as well.
Water your plant. The amount of water depends on the size, temperature, and stage of the plant. As a rule, add enough water to create a pool on the soil surface. The water shouldn’t sit on the surface. If it does, you’ve added too much water.
